![]() Official trail road crossings will remain open with minimal reroutes during construction. The LSR Preserve Center and LSR Preserve trails will be open in 2023. Begin hiking from here or ride up the Aerial Tram or Bridger Gondola ( fees apply) to avoid hiking up the initial elevation. To access park trails from Teton Village, park in the Ranch Lot and walk or take the shuttle bus to the base area. Trails originating from the Granite Canyon Trailhead, including Granite Canyon, Marion Lake, and the Teton Crest Trail, will be accessible from Teton Village and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. NPS Photo Visitor Access Granite Canyon Trails The steep and winding single-lane gravel road is not recommended for RVs or vehicles towing camping trailers.In autumn, the Moose-Wilson Road provides visitors with scenic views of fall foliage. Access to the Hells Canyon Wilderness in the Seven Devils Mountains is from Forest Road 517 near Riggins. At Hells Canyon Dam the road crosses to the Oregon side of the canyon and ends 1.5 miles at the Hells Canyon Creek Recreation Site. ![]() ![]() This paved two-lane road twists through ranch land to Oxbow Dam, where it follows the Snake River to Hells Canyon Dam. The other Idaho access point to the Snake River is County Road 71, which intersects Highway 95 at Cambridge and traverses 65 miles to Copperfield where it meets the Idaho Power Company Road to Hells Canyon Creek. ![]() The road is a single-lane gravel road with steep grades and tight switchbacks. Highway District Road 493, which intersects Highway 95 near White Bird and winds 20 miles to Pittsburg Landing, is one of two Idaho access points to the Snake River in Hells Canyon.
